#I bet that after that night he never knows what happened to that bucket list #probably assumes that it has been lost or thrown out #until the days years later when he finds the crumpled paper tucked inside her wallet #creased and worn like she’s often pulled it out and stared at those words #three simple little words that would comfort her in times of trouble or doubt #times when she felt she could never be enough #because his words have always been able to get her through anything #and it was through his words that he was present in her life long before they ever met #saving her before he even knew her with words that had been read by millions #but these three words #these were for the two of them alone #so when he finds that paper tucked away #he doesn’t say a thing #just puts it safely back where it had been #always there to remind her #that even if he’s not beside her #he’ll always be with her.
